About Me:
Daniel is a Junior at the University of Washington pursuing degrees in both Business Finance and English.  In the summer of 2005 Daniel worked at Rustic Canyon Partners in Seattle, a Venture Capital Fund specializing in High Tech. investing.  In the summer of 2006 Daniel working in San Francisco at Banc of America Securities in the Technology group, assisting in M&A and its related efforts.  This coming summer, 2007, Daniel will be spending his summer at Goldman Sachs' Seattle office, specializing in Private Wealth Management.  Daniel finds interest in real estate investing and his family.  Daniel believes that in the end, he who has played the most rounds of golf wins!

Luis was born in Venezuela before moving to the United States.  Luis is fluent in Spanish and is a big history fan.  Luis plays water polo at the UW is a huge Seahawks fan.  Luis interned with a local angel investor after freshman year and will be a sales & trading summer analyst at JPMorgan I-Bank this summer.

 

Cameron Newland

About Me:
Cameron is a Junior Economics major. Hailing from Bellevue, Washington, Cameron turned an interest in investment into a thriving multi-strategy fund-vehicle which he invests on behalf of his local high-net-worth clients.  Before launching his own fund in early 2006, Cameron worked for Spanish multinational bank BBVA where, among other things, he advised high-net-worth clients (both British and Spanish) and provided due-diligence on the cross-border acquisition of a wireless telecom firm.  He plans to move his boutique hedge fund to Spain immediately after graduation so as to take on capital from the burgeoning expatriate community. His one man shop, ScarletStream Capital Management (and his internal ScarletStorm Fund) utilizes unconventional research techniques to cover the wireless/consumer electronics sector, restaurants, and apparel.  In his free time, Cameron enjoys travel, snowboarding, swimming, lacrosse, and foreign languages.

 

Trevor Frazier

About Me:
Trevor is a junior studying finance at the University of Washington Business School. He graduated high school with an Associate in Business degree and subsequently transferred to the U. For two and a half years, Trevor worked for one of the top financial advisors at Ameriprise Financial where he specialized in portfolio analysis and client service. Following graduation, he is considering pursuing a law degree and would like to ultimately open his own investment firm. In his spare time, Trevor enjoys attending sporting events, fishing, camping and reading.

Brad is a Junior at UW looking to finish up my degree in the next two years.  Right now Brad is actively trying to network with different VC and PE groups in the Seattle area, and solidify those relationships for a position as a financial analyst when Brad graduates.  Recently, Brad and a couple of partners have been piecing together a business plan to tap into the success you can have as an Entrepreneur.

Tom is a junior at the UW majoring in Finance.  He has a wide range of interests within the field of finance and recently held an internship at UBS in wealth management.  This summer Tom will be interning at Artesia Mortgage Capital Corporation working with Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS).  Tom is also an accomplished guitarist, enjoys the outdoors, all sports, traveling, and working out.

Allen is currently a senior at the University of Washington, and is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and International Business. Having spent 10 years of his life attending an international school in Taipei, Taiwan, he is fluent in both English and Chinese. Throughout his college career, Allen has worked for such firms as Merrill Lynch and Citigroup. Next year, he will be working at Lehman Brothers in Hong Kong. Besides taking an active role in Dow Dawgs, Allen is also the President of the Chinese Track for the Certificate of International Studies in Business. In his free time, Allen enjoys working out, playing golf, and experiencing Seattle night life.

 

Kira Detko

About Me:
Kira is graduating the University of Washington in June 2008 with a degree in Business Finance and significant work in English Literature. In the summer of 2006 Kira worked at Jason Investments and studied at the University of California-Berkeley. In the Fall of 2006 through the end of Winter of 2007 Kira worked at Parametric Portfolio Associates, a Seattle hedge fund,  in the field of trading. In the Spring of 2007 Kira worked at Corporate Advisory Associates, a Private Equity Evaluation firm. In Summer 2007 Kira will be working in San Francisco’s Goldman Sachs office, specializing in Private Wealth Management. Kira’s family and friends are of utmost importance to her.
